Yup. I've been running a now 15-month experiment using generative AI to decorate my articles. The results have been getting better but are still often just weird. I'm okay with that as it presents a time-series of absurdly regular improvements from an already what the heck bar. There are definitely bad results, often due to my ineptitude at prompts, but the two tools I switch between now are remarkably good. Certainly good enough for 'free' images for my publications.
