I find reports on hydrogen trials are fascinating reading, with very obviously bad for hydrogen conclusions which they refuse to say, instead taking stuff out of context that they say is good.
A classic is a US DOE report on hydrogen refueling stations in California, where the report was glowing about one station approaching 300 kilograms of hydrogen delivered in a single day. The reality was an average of 54 kilograms a day, or enough for about 18 cars. And the stations were being fixed 20% more hours than they were actually pumping hydrogen, 12,000 vs 10,000 over six months, yet this was not highlighted. The actual costs of the maintenance was not laid out at all.
