Undoubtedly, but their very sensible focus is on transmission of electricity from where it’s generated to where it’s needed. Renewable generation of hydrogen is mostly a sideline as it’s not useful for transportation or grid storage. It is useful for lower carbon steel manufacturing, but electric minimills are still better, and there’s a lot of scrap steel out there, especially as we start gutting the fossil fuel infrastructure around the world.
