Regarding floating solar, I suspect you need to look up rogue waves, the power of moving water and the combination of wind load to the force vectors. Then perhaps get on Youtube and look up floating solar fires and failures and watch some instructive videos. Perhaps, as I have, talking with global experts on floating solar, read studies on it and consider thee implications for its use in specific use cases in some depth. Suffice it to say, I'm comfortable in my assessment and think that you have a very rosy idea of what conditions are like on the water, along with the costs of construction and maintenance.

Regarding geothermal, you might be right, but I've spent a reasonable amount of time looking at that technology as well, assessing Japanese resistance, New Zealand's embracing of it, Iceland's dependence on it, why it doesn't exist in western Canada and looking the technical challenges of deep geothermal. In other words, I'm comfortable that I've assessed the space with both breadth and depth. My assessment remains, but unlike floating solar, I hold out more possibility that I'll be wrong.
