Ports are already heavily electrified and electrifying further in any event. The big cranes are almost entirely electric. Port ground vehicles are going battery electric quickly, and port water vehicles are following.

APUs on ships are a known issue, so there's also a lot of investigation into power buoys, electron bunkering barges and other solutions. There will be a mix. While bulk shipping is going to drop drastically with the elimination of the 40% of bulk that's fossil fuels, and a significant reduction in the 15% that is raw iron ore, we'll still have bulk and containerized batteries make less sense for them.
