I’m unhappy about Warren’s departure as well. Of the candidates remaining, she had by the strongest climate change plan and the clearest understanding of federal governance. Her departure will be missed, although there is still the potential for her to be a VP on the eventual ticket with Biden. One can hope that this occurs and that her plan with a couple of inclusions from Biden’s and others becomes the US climate action plan.

One of the things I like to remind American’s about is that there have been many female heads of state in Muslim majority countries, but none in the USA. US exceptionalism continues to fray.
