I would really like the USA to stop creating the tensions in the South China Sea, personally. As China ramps up its semiconductor capabilities rapidly, Taiwan and TSMC became less strategically significant. It's possible but looking a bit iffy about whether the USA can recreate domestic chip manufacturing capabilities. Texas Instruments has been flailing per reports.
Having read Mahbubani, Jacques, Kissinger and Dalio's perspectives on China, it's uninterested in aggressive military action, but is making it clear that aggression will result in a rock solid defense.
