For my purposes for this article, I’d done enough smacking around of the people spouting nonsense about Germany and making exceptionalist claims for the USA. I may dig deeper later. For the USA, I certainly compare and contrast Germany’s grid stability and reliability to the USA’s to make a point. There are definitely lessons to be learned, but many US commenters are working hard to ensure that they won’t be.
