Angelique was not only an excellent specimen of a crow, glossy of feather, straight of beak and black of eye, but also a master thief. There was no human building she couldn’t get into and out of with choice morsels in her stomach and beak. She was a Vancouver crow and somewhat acquainted with Jacques, until Esmerelda put a stop to that.
